Public Speaking helps children grow into confident communicators who can express ideas clearly, persuasively, and with poise. This program guides young learners through the fundamentals of speech delivery, audience connection, and body language, empowering them to become articulate speakers and active listeners.

Objective

The Public Speaking program at Explorer’s Academy is designed to build confidence, clarity, and charisma in young speakers. Through engaging activities and structured practice, students learn how to organize their thoughts, speak with impact, and connect with audiences—skills that are vital for academic, social, and future professional success.

Focus Area

Understanding speech structure: opening, body, and conclusion.
Practicing voice modulation, clarity, and pacing.
Using body language, gestures, and eye contact effectively.
Developing storytelling, debate, and persuasive speaking skills.

Session

45-minute sessions, twice a week

Warm-Up (5 min): Vocal exercises, tongue twisters, or impromptu speaking.
Lesson (15 min): Focused topic such as body language or speech structure.
Practice (20 min): Delivering short speeches, group discussions, or role-play.
Wrap-Up (5 min): Peer feedback and reflection to boost confidence.

Intermediate Level

Advanced Level

Duration: 3 months

Overcoming stage fear and building self-confidence.
Introduction to body posture, voice projection, and basic delivery.
Practicing short speeches: “My Favorite Hobby,” “Show and Tell.”
Listening and responding through fun group activities.
Final project: Deliver a 1–2 minute prepared speech on a simple topic.
